Newspeak
I just posted an abstract of a talk I want to give on the Reboot 9 website.
There's that Tower of Babel again...
I don't know what the selection criteria are - maybe Thomas the organizer decides, or maybe it's to do with how many people click on the little "I like it" button.
If it is the latter, and you like the look of that, and want to hear words coming out of my mouth, do me favour and click me up, would you?
Thanks awfully!
Statement of Intent

[Off topic] SLINT! IN! AMSTERDAM!
I can't help it. It's got nothing to do with Media Catalyst, but I'm very VERY EXCITED that Slint are playing live at the Paradiso in May.

(Ab)normal service will now be resumed.

Yay! Finally, just when I thought it wasn't going to happen this year, I get an email from Thomas Madsen-Mygdal advertising Reboot 9.0.
This year's theme is "Human":
"being human, human goals, digital human, human connection, serving human goals, human voices, human organizations, humans connected to each other, human trust, human tools, human model, human culture, human community, human potential, human tribes, human beliefs, human energy, human soul, human change, human minds, human call."
Based on past experience (I went to Reboot 7, two colleagues went to Reboot 8) this is an inspirational, engaging and enlightening way to spend a weekend. I'm still using the notes I took two years ago!
I can't recommend this event highly enough!
