Waste not, want not
A recent study by Greenpeace "highlights which of the major electronics companies is doing the most to remove the worst toxic chemicals from their products and which companies have good recycling programs for their products".
I was in London over the weekend and was bowled over by the amount of shops and products heavily marketing their green/ organic/ fairtrade/ ethically souced credentials.
This could be an interesting angle for electronics firms to take on. Not as an empty marketing boast, but as a serious corporate commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability. Do it, then let the facts speak for themselves.
I look forward to watching the manufacturers competing to out-green each other...

I stumbled upon this interesting gallery the other day. It contains several screenshots of some of the well-known sites but without the text and only the graphics. Interesting to see how websites are represented as pure structural pieces.

Bike sign design gone wrong
It must be really annoying if you put up a nicely designed sign, and then nobody gets it...Summer brings a lot of tourists to Amsterdam; when I cycle to the station at the end of the afternoon they are everywhere.
